I am perming my hair tonight by myself. got all the supplies, perm kit, rods ands after treatment. My hair is kind if coarse and i am going for loose wavy beachy curls. does anyone have any tips? wish me luck!

dont leave in the perm too long cuz your hair will be really puffy and frizzy if you do

Reply:Well good luck, I had my hair permed yesterday, and you probably could do a better job then my hairdresser did to me, I had long wavy hair, she cut it and permed it, I now look like an african, my curls are not defined because the rods were too small, just get someone to help you because each rod has to be coated with the solution, if you miss one, you will straight strands, have a good leave in conditioner ready to use after each wash and a spray bottle to dampen down every now and then., you car%26#039;nt wash it for 48 hours until the perms settles in. Ifyour using large rollers you should have no worries, I wish I had.
