Hair Highlights?????

Hey, i have a curious question.


Some people want brown hair color with blonde highlights. I%26#039;ve seen people wanting to dye their hair brown and then do blonde highlights. Why do people foil highlight and then dye the left over hair brown. (this is over black hair.) Why don%26#039;t people dye their whole hair brown first then do foil blonde highlights? Why don%26#039;t people foil highlight first and then the left over hair dye brown or w.e color they choose to.

Reply:When you chemically alter your hair again and again, it becomes brittle, dry and sometimes green. The purpose in doing 2 different colorings and not just dying the whole head one color then re-dying some parts of it with another color, is to prevent the double chemical damage.
