Does anyone know how to get wavy hair?

i have really straight hair. i mean stick to your head straight. my hair currently is a little below the shoulders, has layers, and i have bangs. i was wondering if anyone knows how to get my hair to become wavy, like at the ocean wavy. if you have any tips, i would appreciate it. also i would like tips to be kinda natural, not alot of heat. also does anyone know cute styles to wear straight layered hair up? it is like a million degrees and hair has to be up. thank you

Get a really thick curling iron the thicker it is the looser the curl and then brush it out a little to get a wave. then put in some hairspray to make it stay..

Well after you take a shower, you can french braid your hair and leave it for about 8 hours or so. Then, take it out and it will be gorgeously wavy! Or you can get a perm that makes your hair wavy. Some curling irons make your hair wavy too.
Reply:a crimper or just braid them overnight and sleep on them then take them out in the morning. It works REALLY good on my hair.
Reply:well, if you shower at night; as soon as you get out get the excess moisture out and braid it. In the morning it should be really wavy. If you shower in the morning just use a curling iron and brush it out till you get the perfect wave.
